Faith Inquiry Press operates Faith Inquiry Navigator. We collect only the information needed to provide and protect the service.
Information we collect
Account information includes your name, email address, authentication records, and account status. When you use the app, we may store inquiry profiles, claim ratings, AI inquiry conversations, group membership, community posts and replies, group-chat messages, reported-message excerpts, moderation reports, aggregate participation, subscription status, one-time resource purchase records, and limited first-party product interaction events. Funnel events use a random browser-session key and record actions such as profile completion, resource-page visits, checkout starts, and interest-form submissions; they are not advertising trackers. Payment card details are handled by the applicable payment provider and are not stored by Faith Inquiry Press.
Private AI inquiry and group sharing
AI conversations are private to the signed-in user by default. A question and AI response enter a group community only when the user deliberately chooses to publish or share that exchange. Shared discussion and group-chat controls depend on the organization’s participation mode. Standard groups may allow all active members to manage shared spaces; faculty-managed school and Bible-college groups reserve class creation, roster management, and shared-content controls for Moderators and Group Admins while students participate in assigned groups. These controls do not open another member’s private AI conversations, assessment answers, confidence ratings, assigned inquiry profile, or unreported direct messages. Direct member conversations are visible only to their two participants. When a participant reports a direct message, only designated Moderators or Group Admins receive the selected message excerpt needed for review. Faculty participation dashboards use shared class activity counts only and exclude private AI conversations, assessment answers, confidence ratings, and private profile content.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate you, generate requested AI responses, sync your work, provide group access and moderation, manage subscriptions and one-time purchases, maintain security, measure whether inquiry and resource pathways are working, improve reliability, and deliver features you request. AI responses may be inaccurate and should not be treated as confidential pastoral, medical, legal, or emergency advice.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information, use private reflections for advertising, or send first-party funnel events to advertising networks. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate authentication, hosting, AI processing, email, analytics, and payments, or when required by law. We retain account data while your account is active and as reasonably required for security, billing, and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can request permanent account deletion from Account settings, available under your signed-in name. Requests are reviewed and processed administratively. App-managed personal data is deleted when the request is completed, subject to legal obligations and technical or service-provider retention limits. For privacy questions, contact admin@faithinquirypress.com.
